The first (official) Sports Marketing Scotland Blether went down really well.

It’s an informal and casual chat on all things sports marketing and it’s available for anyone to join. March’s event had some really great feedback from those that joined.

Don’t just take my word for it though, here’s some feedback.

Some feedback on the event from a student. I thought it was really beneficial being put into a small group with guys who do this stuff all the time so was a great learning opportunity.

It was thoroughly enjoyable and I will certainly look to join in on one of the events in future.

I would definitely recommend it to others. It’s great to meet other like minded individuals.

If you work in sport and are responsible for marketing your club/sport then it’s definitely something to take part in.

As someone who’s spent a lot of time over the past few years interacting with sports marketers on Twitter it was good to be able to talk to them ‘face to face’ (kinda).

April’s Blether will be on Monday 26th with a 7pm kick off. How it works is we’ll be split up into smaller groups to give more opportunity to chat, and at half time we’ll switch the rooms to give you the opportunity to put even more faces to names.

You can sign up on Eventbrite below or head here for a bit more info.

I’m looking forward to having a Blether with you! If there’s any questions or queries at all, just give me a shout on Twitter @sportsmarketsco or on email at chris@sportsmarketingscotland.co.uk
